Paul DeLong
Paul DeLong serves as President, Commercialization at MOIA America, where he leads the company’s commercial strategy and market deployment, working to scale autonomous mobility solutions across U.S. cities. In this role, he focuses on translating MOIA’s turnkey autonomous mobility platform, which combines autonomous-ready, purpose-built vehicles, an AI driven Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) software platform, and operator expertise into successful real-world deployments with ride hailing partners, transit, and mobility platforms.
DeLong is a longtime mobility executive and entrepreneur who has spent more than 15 years building and scaling next-generation transportation platforms. He is best known for helping introduce the first free-floating carsharing model in North America with Daimler’s car2go, where he later served as President and CEO of car2go North America. Under his leadership, the service grew into the largest car sharing platform in North America, reaching more than one million members across 15 cities. Austin served as the company’s pilot market, where DeLong helped refine the free-floating model, navigate complex regulatory environments, and develop the commercialization strategy that enabled large-scale expansion across the U.S. and Canada.
Earlier in his tenure at car2go, DeLong served as Chief Marketing Officer, building the brand from inception and establishing the category narrative for shared urban mobility. He also contributed to Daimler’s global mobility strategy as a member of the Daimler Mobility Services Global Strategy Committee, helping guide the company’s broader investments in connected and shared mobility platforms.
Following car2go, DeLong continued to lead emerging mobility ventures, including serving as President of Penske Dash, a mobility service launched in Washington, D.C., and most recently as President of Quantum Mobility, an EV-focused carsharing platform serving residential, workplace, and hospitality environments.
