Lior Ron is the Chief Operating Officer at Waabi, the leader in Physical AI. In this role, he leads company-wide strategy, operations, and commercial execution for Waabi across both autonomous trucking and robotaxis. Ron is also the Founder and Chairman of Uber Freight, where he built Uber’s logistics business from inception into the global digital freight leader with over $5 billion in annual revenue.
He holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a master’s degree in Computer Science with a specialization in neural networks from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. Ron is widely recognized for his leadership in AI, logistics, autonomy, and digital transformation, and he regularly mentors founders and early-stage teams.
