Chris McNally

Chris McNally is a Senior Managing Director responsible for lead coverage of Global Automotive & Mobility equity research at Evercore ISI. In 2025, he again was named to the Extel (formerly Institutional Investor) All-America Research Team for Autos & Auto Parts, ranking runner-up in the category for the sixth consecutive year. Mr. McNally has over two decades of experience covering industrials and autos, previously starting his investing career for global buy-side firms, including SAC Capital, RWC Partners, Occitan Capital and Karsch Capital. He joined the sellside, for Evercore, in 2015 and has since spearheaded the firm’s expansion of traditional automotive coverage into the emerging frontiers of Electrification, AutoTech, Physical AI & Autonomy within both public and private markets globally. As is evident in his extensive public body of research, an Autonomous future is a particular technological passion project, which has become embodied in Evercore's annual AV Forum (NYC) which will eclipse its 10th anniversary this upcoming year. Chris serves on the advisory board of the BioPhysical Economics Institute, graduated summa cum laude with a B.S in business from Cornell University, as well as an MBA in finance from the Graduate School of Business at Columbia University.
