Ashu Rege

Ashu Rege is the Vice President of DoorDash Labs at DoorDash. Prior to joining DoorDash, he served as the Senior Vice President of Software Engineering at Zoox, a robotaxi startup acquired by Amazon. Previously he held other executive roles at Nvidia, most recently as VP of Computer Vision Engineering and Robotics, leading efforts on self-driving, drones and other robotics applications. Earlier in his career, he co-founded, or worked at, startups related to computer graphics, and Internet and network technologies. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from U.C. Berkeley where he was a Regents’ Fellow and Pardee Scholar, and is presently on the Advisory Board for the Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences department.
