Supernal, established in 2020 as Hyundai Motor Group’s Advanced Air Mobility division and rebranded as Supernal LLC in 2021, develops electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, notably its S-A2 model, for urban air mobility. The company is building an integrated ecosystem including vertiport infrastructure and regulatory partnerships, targeting commercial operations by 2028.
